What to expect in Enchanting Mekong Delta Chau Doc tour 2 days 1 night

You will experience sitting on a small boat  walking around Tra Su Melaleuca forest, exploring Khmer culture, a special Khmer pagoda, and taking lots of photos with the sugar palm fields. On the second day, you will wake up early to visit Cai Rang floating market, make your own noodles at the rice noodle factory and enjoy seasonal fruits.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Our tour guide picks you up at your hotel and heads to Chau Doc. We go to Tra Su melaleuca forest.
• Arriving at Tra Su Melaleuca forest (planted from the 80s). The tour guide then helps you with boat tickets and get on board. After sitting on a motor boat around 20 minutes to contemplate the natural sights, you will take to the rowing sampan (about half hour) to watch wild birds (seasonal) and enjoy the most beautiful flooded forest in Vietnam.
• Afterwards, take 500-meter walking to get to the 25-meter bird-watching tower to enjoy the fascinating view over the mountain in the area, the expanses of cajeput forest and the white dots of flying storks.
• Take an amazing longest bamboo walking bridge in the forest in Vietnam which give you much time to feel the beauty of the nature
• Enjoy an authentic Vietnamese lunch meal in the forest.
• Then, visit a local Khmer pagoda and learn about Khmer people’s culture
• On the way, stop at a sugar palm fields for nice photos and have a cool sugar palm fruit juice
• Then, heading to Can Tho city for you to check in  the hotel

Day 2 

• The guide picks you up at 05:00 A.M at your hotel and heads to Ninh Kieu wharf.
• After that, we will go to Cai Rang floating market by a small boat
• During the trip, you can feel the river atmosphere and see the rustic life of locals who live in harmony with water, and the rivers
• Arriving at the Cai Rang floating market, our nice tour guide will explain the history and information of floating market life. Also, you can see how the locals sell and by their farm produce on the boat
• Don’t forget to enjoy local rice noodle soup, Vietnamese coffee and fresh pineapple here.
• Then we will stop by a local family business making rice noodles for more than 40 years. You can try making noodles on your own, and then enjoy the crispy “rice noodle pizza“
• Our next stop is the seasonal orchard where you can see fruits in the trees and try many kinds of seasonal fruits.
• Keep moving to the cacao farm, where you will learn about cacao and have a chance to watch the chocolate homemade processes. Enjoy the fresh and tasty cocoa and homemade chocolate
• At the end, we will stop at the local family to make and enjoy a Vietnamese traditional pancake called “Banh Xeo” and have an authentic Vietnamese lunch.
• At 11:00 AM, transfer back to Can Tho by car.
